Statement on NFCAA and Coronavirus (COVID-19)


The Northeast Florida Community Action Agency, Inc. (NFCAA) is taking steps to maintain the health and safety of our customers, our employees, and our community as our nation deals with the COVID-19 pandemic.

NFCAA temporarily closed its service locations in Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau and Putnam on Monday, March 16, 2020.

Beginning Monday, March 23, 2020 the following county offices will resume taking appointments for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP): Baker, Clay, Flagler, Nassau and Putnam.

All appointments must be made through the appointment line 904-362-8052. Customers may go online to www.nfcaa.org under “Programs - LIHEAP” to print the application or one can be mailed prior to the appointment. Copies of all required documentation must be submitted with the application. A list of the required documentation can also be downloaded from the website along with the application.

Duval and St. Johns County offices are closed at this time and will resume services at a later date, to be announced.

The agency will seek to reopen additional services, as quickly and as safely as possible.

The Administration Office will remain open Monday through Friday, 8: am-5: pm.
